2. Cluster Resources & Panasas Deliver Integrated HPC Solution

Cluster Resources has partnered with Panasas, a global leader in parallel storage, to deliver the first integrated HPC solution that brings compute and storage resources under the same management and orchestration umbrella. This allows Cluster Resources' Moab Workload Manager to not only schedule and optimize workload and compute resources, but also - through its integration with Panasas' ActiveScale storage cluster - optimize storage resources. This unification will increase overall cluster efficiency and more closely align your resources with your QoS and SLA objectives.

This enhancement is available as a value-add to the Moab Upgrade Protection Service. If you currently use Panasas or are interested in evaluating an intelligent compute and storage resource management solution, we invite you to schedule a personal conference call with Cluster Resources and Panasas to better understand how this best of breed solution can help you maximize your ROI.

Calls are being scheduled for the last week of April and the first week of May. Is there a day in those weeks when you have a 15-20 minute window available for this call?

Please email [EMAIL PROTECTED] today with your call time preference to reserve a time slot.

3. Moab Training Webinars

Our sincere thanks to those of you who participated in last month's Moab Technical Training web seminar for your involvement and contributions; the response was tremendous. We want to apologize to those of you were turned away due to capacity limits. As it was, we extended the original allocation of 30 slots by 50% before we were forced to close the sessions.

Recordings of the recent training sessions will be available on in the near future at www.clusterresources.com/.

Good news: Because of your response to the recent training opportunity, there will be another Moab Training Webinar scheduled in the coming months. Anyone who was unable to participate in March because the sessions reached maximum capacity will receive an emailed invitation as soon as the date is set, and a guaranteed first right of refusal for a slot at each session you wish to attend.

Look for information on this upcoming webinar in future newsletters and at
www.clusterresources.com. If you have topic suggestions for future Moab Technical Training sessions, please email them to [EMAIL PROTECTED]

4. Did You Know: User Selectable Priority w/QOS

Using the QOS facility, organizations can set up an environment in which users can more freely select the desired priority of a given job. Organizations may enable access to a number of QOSs each with its own charging rate, priority, and target service levels. Users can then assign job importance by selecting the appropriate QOS. If desired, this can allow them to jump ahead of other users in the queue if they are willing to pay the associated costs.
