3. Did You Know: checkjob

If a user or admin sees a problem with a job (i.e. the job is not running when 
you think it should) they should use checkjob. checkjob displays detailed job 
state information and diagnostic output for a specified job. Detailed 
information is available for queued, blocked, active, and recently completed 
jobs. 

Using checkjob –v will give more detailed information regarding the job. Or, if 
you’re wondering why a job isn’t running on a particular node you can use 
checkjob –n to get information on jobs specific to a node.

4. Online Training Sessions

Cluster Resources provides live interactive demonstrations to show how easy it 
is to evaluate Moab. These demonstrations go into detail about the tools we 
provide that make the evaluation simple and effective. 

Part 1 of the training covers the use of Moab in a cluster environment, as well 
as the following areas: Moab architecture, installation, diagnostics and 
troubleshooting, admin tools, end user tools, and testing modes.

Part 2 of the training details Moab in a grid environment, including 
information on grid autonomy, credential remapping and other grid specific 
capabilities.
