Events --PCPC Direct Hosts Microsoft Release Party, Oct. 2 PCPC Direct is partnering with HP, Microsoft, and Cluster Resources to host High Productivity High Performance Computing on October 2, 2008, at the PCPC Direct headquarters in Houston, Texas. The event begins at 11:30am with a buffet lunch and a keynote speaker. Following lunch, Cluster Resources will host a breakout session and present Moab Hybrid Cluster on PCPC’s hybrid boot cluster. Did You Know: 'mdiag -S' The 'mdiag -S' command is used to present information about the status of the scheduler and grid interface. This command will report on the following aspects of scheduling: General Scheduler Configuration High Availability Scheduling Status System Reservation Status Message Profiling/Statistics Status Using the "mdiag -S -v" command will provide additional stats, such as the total number of job starts, job start rates, poll interval stats, and information about object limits and peaks.
