Dear Maui Users,

I'm using Torque 2 with Maui 3.2.6p20 scheduler. Traditionally, I have one
queue for all the jobs and limit users' usage by USERCFG . So far it worked,
but now there is a need to create a mechanism for users to run some fast short
jobs outside the normal queue limits.

I'm thinking of creating another Torque queue with shorter cpu time limits but
larger max_user_run value. But I've just realized that in this case my USERCFG
limits are not useful anymore; and I wonder if it will work with Maui for
Torque's queues are only advisory, not mandatory for the scheduler.

So, could you please advice me, how can I limit user's maximal number of jobs
per Torque queue with Maui? Or is there another way to create exemptions for
short test jobs (QOS? How to set it up, and will it terminate the over-limit
jobs as Torque does for its queues?)

Thank you very much in advance!
