THanks! I used the word "servers" to emphasise I meant the whole "box". I've found that the meaning of "nodes" is interpreted differently by various people. e.g. even within my PBS wrapper if I request nodes=8 (and no ppn specified ) my job gets picked up but this time it runs on 8 "cores" and not 8 "servers".
