Try adjusting your RESERVATIONDEPTH or commenting it out. I had this set to 32 prior to upgrading to torque-2.4.12. After the upgrade maui would crash on its second iteration through the queues. I then set it to 1 and had no further problems.
I found this in the archives and decided to give it a try. Lucky fix, I guess. For me strace indicated that maui was segfaulting in libtorque.so.2 around decode_DIS_attrl() and disrst() in a malloc() call. // Steve On 02/15/2011 07:20 PM, Andrus, Brian Contractor wrote: > Ok, it is attacking me again, only now there doesn’t seem to be anything I can > do with pbs_server to get it to stop. > > Symptoms: > > Maui almost immediately segfaults when started. > > It looks like it is able to iterate once through the Queued jobs. > > Running in debug mode gives me nothing but: > > Segmentation fault > > So, I start pbs_sched and let it run a bit.
