Hello all ! our cluster has 60 nodes with 8procs per node, with headnode running torque 2.4.6 and maui 3.2.6p21. I would like to set the node allocation policy to Contiguous. But when I change maui.cfg and restart maui it fails to start. is Contiguous node allocation policy restricted to Compaq RMS systems? What are other alternative node allocation policies which behave like Contiguous? All I want to is fill each node completely with jobs before going to the next node. Right now when users submit 10 jobs with 4procs per node, they are scattered around 10 nodes. I want to pack them to 5 nodes so the rest 5 nodes can handle 8procs per node jobs. Current node allocation policy is CPULOAD.
