Hi Mauve users,
I would like to visualize the neighboring genes of a particular gene across
~30 genomes.
Since whole-genome alignment is computationally intensive, I'd like to
specify and anchor the alignment for one particular gene, and not align the
rest of the genome. Is this possible with Mauve?
(I thought about writing a script to grab the flanking ~10k bp of the
gene's homolog in each genome, but Mauve's visualization is quite nice and
I'd rather not write scripts for making nice graphics.)
Thank you,
Hattie
