If it is late model, you may have to switch distros
to boot off the install CD.

LinuxPPC 2000 Q4 is the last released version I know of.
Maybe because it was the first, but I prefer LinuxPPC
to other PPC distros I've tried.

I've switched to Yellow Dog Linux because of
stagnated LinuxPPC development.
