Yes, but it is a kernel only, a distro that installs on NuBus does not exist. Plus, the developer that ported the 2.4.x kernel to NuBus has stopped any further development, and no one has picked up where he left off. The version of the NuBus kernel is currently frozen at 2.4.5 (last binary from June 19, 2001), the most current Linux kernel is 2.4.19. Since the VM system is _much_ different with recent kernels, updating Takashi Oe's work is not trivial, from what I understand. This may not be a problem for some, but you should know what you are getting into. I have used this kernel with LinuxPPC and YDL, but I would not recommend this because of the uncertainty. -- Charles Dostale System Administrator Silver Oaks Communications http://www.silveroaks.com 824 17th Street Moline IL USA 61265 [EMAIL PROTECTED] 309-797-9898 -- MaX-list is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> MaX-list info: <http://lowendmac.com/linux/max.shtml> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/max-list%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
