Hi John. I don't think there should be a "nothing yet" option on a Mandrake poll. Their version isn't real user friendly for the Mac yet, though there are a few helpful and smart people trying very hard to bring 9.? to most mac users. You might have far better luck testing YDL (yellow dog linux) or Debain and of course NetBSD as these may prove to be more mac friendly for all but the imac and pc's. I have found MDK good for the pc, far from prefect but usable since 7.1 I hope you have a fast connection and can try many. :) Welcome to the MaX list, I hope you find frustration and challenge to your taste as some flavor's for the mac need a bit of work. ;) but thats part of the fun and I'm hardly a guru. PS: its not a busy list until someone has something to say. :) So make some traffic. :) > > > > -- MaX-list is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and... / Buy books, CDs, videos, and more from Amazon.com \ / <http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/redirect-home/lowendmac> \ Support Low End Mac <http://lowendmac.com/lists/support.html> MaX-list info: <http://lowendmac.com/linux/max.shtml> Send list messages to: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To unsubscribe, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> For digest mode, email: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subscription questions: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/max-list%40mail.maclaunch.com/> Using a Macintosh?
