Thanks... Can Star Office run on OSX? I'd like to convert my pop's
computer to OSX and use Star Office on it so him and I can communicate with
my sister who is a hardcore Windoze user (there is a Win version of Star
Office available which she agreed to use).

Also, what does BSD and OSX have in common as far as the user/machine
interface goes? Does one need to learn BSD as a separate system to fully
utilize OSX?

3rd and last question - can OSX run on an 8500/G3 Frankenmac? Linux runs
fine now on that machine.
