Max out the RAM, and use the trimmest window manager you can, like Blackbox.  It 
_should_ work, but won't be exactly what you call speedy.  All due respect to 68k 
hardware, but it's probably much more appropriate to console mode and low-demand 
server use, now that we're in the day of 3 GHz computers.

I bought the "Mac hacker special" from Bob Nestor.  I like having both the 68k and PPC 
ports on a single CD, it's very convenient.  Bob is courteous and very quick to ship.
