Hi there, I've been reading for ages but this is my first post.
I have a couple of old 7500/100s that I'm trying to do something useful
with. I've been through all the linux versions and have them happily running
away in the background as headless web servers under mandrake linux.
I'd like to do something more with them but OS X and Darwin are both pushing
it, so I waited on Yellow Dog Linux 3 to test them.
It crashes.
If I use text mode, it crashes.
No matter what options I pass the kernel, it crashes, and crashes...
If always crashes as the installer attempts to partition the HDD. Now, I'm
no stranger to linux and know what I'm doing, and there's nothing wrong with
the HDDs. Has anyone else had this problem or know of any known bugs with
oldworld macs and YDL3?
Thanks,
Mat
