> So I could potentially install System 7.1 and run good ol' Word 5??? No -- as someone else pointed out, it only supports 7.5. Should still work though, I think, since I've had 5.1 running happily on 9.x (and as someone also pointed out, 5.1 seems to be very happy in Classic too). I run 8.6 on my 'virtual' PPC. SheepShaver supports up to 9.0.4, but 9.0.4 was a black mark on the otherwise excellent OS 9 series. Once support makes it to 9.1 and up, I'll jump to that. By the way, the Basilisk II port for OS X is nice, too, and verrrry fast. -- ---------------------------------- personal: http://www.armory.com/~spectre/ -- Cameron Kaiser, Floodgap Systems Ltd * So.
