There are two challenges:

(1) As you mentioned, it is a serial printer, so you need to make sure 
that the printing system (for example, CUPS) can address the serial port.

(2) It is a QuickDraw printer, not a PostScript or PCL printer. This is a 
much bigger challenge. While there are suggestions of QuickDraw support 
in some open software, I'm not sure that it really works (aside from for 
some StyleWriters). Google for quickdraw + things like linux, unix, cups, 
and so forth:

In short, this doesn't look like it will be very easy (maybe not even 
possible).

Recommendation: find a cheap PostScript or PCL printer instead.
