Just dig in and do an install. Otherwise, google your way to enlightenment.
I have 'Linux Administration, a Beginners Guide' but never use it -- its RedHat specific. IMHO yellowdog on PCI architechture PPC mac is easiest mac install; however, I'm a Debian fanatic. HTH, -Tom.
