As you will see below, at 10:32a this morning the HD lit-up like a Christmas tree again and denied access to the users. The sapdb kernel processes were working O/T and I had to restart the dbserver to allow users to get into the application. If I am reading the diagnosis file correctly line #3 (marked) below shows that my autolog save kicked off and began the HD I/O thrashing? What is interesting is line #13 (the overflow). Now why would the autolog kicking in cause so much thrashing of the HDs?
