I think we found a solution by own. We have to start two different X_SERVER on different ports.
And shut down this one which is responsible for those who should not reach the server.
Is there any reason against this way?
BTW is there any advantage/disadvantage of using the -F option for the X_SERVER?

Hi,
is there any way to block connection for several clients while SAPDB is running update statistics? In detail we want to block about 10 hosts from the server when the update statistics is running, and also others have to access the system, too!
Regards, Timo
