I think, Torsten Strahl solved my problem (see his answer). The acutally
occupied space for temp data
in my db is very small, so I don't need to delete the data manually any
more.

If the temporary data is used for tables created as TEMP.xxx,
only the session/connection having created this TEMP-table can see it
and therefore only this session/connection can delete data out of it.
--> the cronjon mentioned above will not help in any case.
Temporary data will be used for resultsets, execution plans and so on, too.
Do you close resultsets / cursors if you do not need them any more?
Do you use some kind of monitoring (which in some cases will write much
info
and should not be used all the time)?
