I'm led to believe that REQUEST_TIMEOUT is a global setting and cannot be changed for a session. I'm using 'C' and ODBC.
Can anyone give me a hint on how to set this.
This can be set as part of the connect, but the details differ for ODBC, Precompiler, JDBC and Python.
Try googling for timeout <interface_of_choice> site:sapdb.org.
