No, it is not going to be easy. As much as I grumbled about the MySql protocol, it is so simple compared to Sap. If I worked on it full time, I could likely get it workable within 1 month. I have a good deal of the base structure done. I think once I understand how the messages/segments/parts meld together, it will go pretty quickly.
