This is just for information:
I tried to install The ODBC driver, SAPDB DBM Gui, and the SQL Studio, all
v7.4 from a CD-ROM. I did this one CodeWeavers' CrossOver Office version
2.1.0 trial. (Wine), and under Redhat Severn FC1T3 (basically, redhat 10
beta), with kernel 2.4.22-1.2088.nptl.
All three installers worked fine.
DBMGUI shows the splash screen when run, and that's all.
SQL Studio opens, and gives an oppertunity to log in. When I actually try
to log in, it complains it can't reach the server. I didn't configure the
ODBC connections at all, so this may be the fault (I don't know how to get
to the "Data sources" from wine...)
I thought this might be helpful to anyone else looking to run either of
these under wine.
