No output from "info log"

I am running a 7.4.3 instance on a RedHat 9 machine. I have a problem 
where I don't get any output from the command "info log". This is what I 
get:

  /opt/sapdb/indep_prog/bin/dbmcli on SUCCESS>info log
  OK
  ---
  /opt/sapdb/indep_prog/bin/dbmcli on SUCCESS>
As a comparison, "info data" works perfectly:

  /opt/sapdb/indep_prog/bin/dbmcli on SUCCESS>info data
  OK
  END
  Name                | Value
  Devspace Name       = /mnt/db/db_files/DAT_0001

     Total Space (KB) = 512000
     Used Space (KB)  = 6200
     Used Space (%)   = 1
     Free Space (KB)  = 505800
     Free Space (%)   = 99
  ---
  /opt/sapdb/indep_prog/bin/dbmcli on SUCCESS>
Has anyone seen this before?
