Hello, we are currently using SAP DB 7.3(RH Linux) with the 7.4 and the 7.3 ODBC drivers. We are experiencing following problem:
We want to sync lokal data in our application via low bandwith connections. The sync prozess via SAPDB takes much longer than MSSQL or Oracle. Here are the results: Just opening and closing connection: SAPDB 125kByte Oracle 16kByte MSSQL 23kByte sync: SAPdb 1200kByte Oracle 611kByte MSSQL 425kByte (The used function to sync is the same with ALL databases !!! ) Has anyone any suggestions on lowering the used transfer volume via SAPDB ODBC or experiences the same problem.
