Yes, because of these changes, we are complications trying to do a restore
from 7.5 --> 7.5 using our previous 7.4 scripts.  We are flying blind
without release notes to explain these syntax changes.

Please - can we at least get details on this most critical area?

For such a non-performance concerned program like DBMCLI, why was
compatibility (alias) for old commands not maintained?   Or a more specific
error saying "command syntax no longer supported" to help people?

Look at the example script given with sapdb. Some commands where
renamed, some where removed. For exemple, you should remove the "init
config" command and use db_activate instead of util_activate...

If someone could point me to a complete changelog between sapdb 7.4.0.30
and maxdb 7.5.0.5, that would be nice.
