I tried to install MAX DB on Windows 2003 Server with the newest version from the net
MAX DB Database Manager 7.5.00.03 MAX DB Kernel 7.5.00.05 ODBC MAX DB 7.5.00.00 SAP AG
error cant connect to DB using MAX DB ODBC /MAX DB UNICODE ODBC

having a test DB called test on server ROBOT with default user: (DBM/DBM) even any upper/lower case combination running on Win 2003 Server ...
but if i change the Database name in the ODBC setting i get another error message about that the database is not available so i think the ODBC driver did connect to the MAX Db and did at least check that the database is correct!?!? but i always get that error .. even tried to create new user with all right .. same problem
user: test with passwd: test and 2nd: TEST

even tried with SAP DB Suite 7.4 .. same message .. no access !!?!?
running Service SAP DB:TEST XSERVER
any comments on that!?! Am I missing the point!?
