I have installed MAXDB on Fedora Linux. When starting the server I am also setting: LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5 The user and group I am using is maxdb:maxdb. I am trying to create a database from my windows box using the Database Manager, but I keep getting the following error (in the Installation Wizard's Database Instance Name's screen): -24875 The operating system user is not a member of the database administrators group. [user_system ... ]; 149, UNIX password mismatch I have read lots of posts, but cannot find one that can help me. Any idea what I need to do to get things working for me?
