Dear MaxDB team, while upgrading from 7.4.3.27 to 7.4.3.30 on NT we encounter following error:
dbmcli.exe - Entry Point not found The procedure entry point GlobalMemoryStatusEx could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll. snippet of installation log: ..... checking unpacked archive... ok checking system libraries... ok error occured while executing dbmcli -s dbm_setpath IndepProgPath \"c:\program files\sapdb\indep_prog\" ..... Installation of 7.4.3.30 on W2k or XP works fine! Inspecting Microsoft support (see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;274558) we suppose that function GlobalMemoryStatusEx is only supported on Microsoft Windows 2000 and Microsoft Windows XP. Conclusion: 7.4.3.30 is not installable on NT machines. Will this be fixed in future releases or is 7.4.3.27 the last release, which is installable on NT ?
