Dear List, I recently released the first "home-compilable" release of the sapdb port for FreeBSD.
Its basically adapted to automake, so you simply need to invoke ./configure && gmake all Go to : http://www.komadev.de/e171/e6 ,then see Mirror 2: Download the devtools-FreeBSD file, unpack it with bunzip2 -c devtools_FreeBSD-35758.tar.bz2 | tar xf - then simply invoke : ./configure You will be asked to download the sapdb sources from ftp.sapdb.org and the sources from www.komadev.de If you have already done this, you can put them into the SAPDB subfolder before configure. Otherwise the files will be downloaded and patched automatically. Now you can invoke "gmake all" and have a coffee ;) Have fun, and give feedback.
