the named odbc on http://www.mysql.com/maxdb is the version 7.05.00.00
with the following bugs. (named earlier in the list. now i made one list :)
- doesn't work on windows nt4
- in software under control it is named odbc 7.5 (instead of maxdb odbc 7.5) (btw: this happened also to sqlstudio and dbm gui. so this programs are spread over all the installed software in the software controlpanel)
- it has on several times sap ag instead of maxdb listed (like in comany name at odbc driver, the odbc driver self is named sapdb and so on)
- it get installed in %programfolder%\sapdb\odbc75 instead %programfolder%\maxdb like dbm gui and sql studio does
- when filling the odbc driver by keyboard and jump to the entries by tab instead of mouse, the fields are in the following order on monitor:
dsn, description, server, database
but tab jumps like:
dsn, description, database, server
