Perhaps you missed, that SAP DB (up to version 7.4) and MaxDB
(starting with version 7.5) are the 'same' code (despite some rebranding because
of the name and some feature-changes as usual with different versions).
When we speek of SAP DB-features/tools and MaxDB-features/tools (despite new 7.5 ones)
it is the same, some guys use this name, the others the other name, meaning
all the same --> sqlcli should do for SAP DB and MaxDB.
