First question: Can u please give me an example on how to create a mirrored logfile. I know to set log_mirrored to yes, but both param_addvolume(database creation) and db_addvolume (afterwards) always fail. example: dbmcl>help db_addvolume OK db_addvolume <mod> <nam> <typ> <siz> <mnam> <mtyp> --- dbmcli>db_addvolume mlog /home/sapdb/duplexlog/log01 f 2621 ERR -24996,ERR_PARAM: wrong parameter example: ---snip--- param_directput LOG_MIRRORED YES param_addvolume 1 LOG $HOME/$SID/log/DISKL001 F 2621 param_addvolume 1 MLOG $HOME/$SID/duplexlog/DISKL001 F 2621 param_addvolume 1 DATA $HOME/$SID/data/DISKD0001 F 5242 ---snip--- Second question: What is it good for having more than one "normal-not mirrored" logfile when u use automatic backup?
