Is it not possible to use Py2.x? Or, is there something that I'm doing wrong?

I'm trying to use instdb.py, but it's complaining about the library optlib. This isn't part of the Python stdlib, nor can I find it for download anywhere. Does anyone have it? It would be much appreciated.
If you installed SAP DB or MaxDB, it's in <dependend_path>/lib/python1.5.
