Thanks for that. However, running instdb.py with Py2.x brings up dbm errors

   session = dbm.DBM (options.node, '', options.dbroot)
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'DBM'

Is it not possible to use Py2.x? Or, is there something that I'm doing wrong?

If you installed SAP DB or MaxDB, it's in <dependend_path>/lib/python1.5.
