sorry, there is little in-detail information available in this topic. Anyway
differences listed in the MaxDB documentation are related to the Oracle SQL
mode of MaxDB, a mode in which MaxDB emulates SQL syntax of Oracle 7.3 (with
the listed exceptions in the documentation). That list is not to be understood
as general 'feature list' of MaxDB, only as help for people coming from Oracle.

So, the only advice is look at you current Oracle usage scenario and make a list of
key topics that are needed also in the replacement installaton, and look for these 
features
and how to access them in the respective documentation of MaxDB or one of its 
competitors.

And, if you really cannot find something particular in the MaxDB documentation, you
possibly may ask this list :-)
