I hope I am not being ungrateful for the level of support MaxDB team provides (nowadays it's very, very good, indeed), but IMO, it seems strange that You discontinue support for older, appearently more stable versions, while the new 7.5 still seems full of bugs. Anyone equiped with list maxdb mailing list archives and having simple SELECT privilege on a database can bring it down in a matter of minutes.
I assume that the decision not to support older versions has been made a long time ago, and there is nothing we/you can do there anymore, but it seems good idea if in future there could be longer support cycles, especially until the latest release is mature enough to use it on production systems. Just my 2 cents. Hell, I would even upgrade to a 7.5.x for the function once they got the some of the nastier issues under control. -- MaxDB Discussion Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/maxdb To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED] -- MaxDB Discussion Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/maxdb To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[EMAIL PROTECTED]
