Happy New Year, SDN Friends !
The SAP Developer Network passed the milestone of 30,000 registered users this month, and we are eager to make that number grow significantly in 2004 by continuing to provide you with the best SAP technical information and collaboration services.
The expansion of the Technologies area to include a dedicated MaxDB(tm) & SAP liveCache homepage is a good example of how the range and variety of areas that SDN covers will continue to evolve over time. We're planning the next additions to our eLearning library as well as the future enhancements to our collaboration services now to guarantee a fresh, vibrant experience for our community in the future.
As we define and develop our new features, we're rolling out our first SDN Survey, which will help us to understand your needs more accurately. Together we will continue to nourish and enhance our community.
As always we appreciate your support and contributions.
Thank you!

Technologies - Area Expansion Project
So many technologies impact the SAP ecosystem, where did we start when considering expansion? Well, with open source of course! MaxDB(tm) by MySQL is a re-branded and enhanced version of SAP DB, SAP's open source database, and SAP liveCache equips the database to handle comprehensive objects and structures, such as those found in supply chain management solutions. SDN is particularly excited about the open-source aspects of MaxDB, the recent partnership between SAP and MySQL AB, and MaxDB's inclusion in the SAP NetWeaver(tm) tech stack. All this and more is covered in the technical articles, FAQs, how-to guides, and blogs that we've assembled for you in the new MaxDB and SAP liveCache area in SDN. Before the dust settles from this renovation, grab your toolbelt and pitch in, so that we can develop this pr! om! ising area together. Contribute MaxDB and SAP liveCache content today.
