Depending on the answers given to Configure, different Perl installations and the
extensions built for them are more or less binary compatible. My Policy.sh contains
only directories, but that could be because I've choosen the defaults during Configure.

The sources are part of the server packet
(http://www.mysql.com/products/maxdb/develop/linux.html). When you've gotten s far as
the title 'Creating the Targets', execute 'imf.pl
::SAPDB/Scripting/Resource/scriptperl.mac'.

It would probably be useful if I'd pack
- all the object files that are independent of the Perl headers
- the two sources and related header files that interface to Perl
- a Makefile.PL
That way, one could create the Perl extensions without having to install our build
tools.
