Hi all,

I've been using Oracle for long but a newbie to MySQL/MaxDB.

I'd like to create a hot standby on Linux platform. I've been following the
documentation but not getting very far before I get stuck (about mid-way through
creating the homogenous copy).

Would be very appreciate if someone can give me a hint on the steps necessary to
create a hot standby with automatic log backup. Does it work better using the webdbm
interface?

In addition, I notice there are some hss_ commands in dbmcli, but couldn't find any
reference to them. Where can I make them useful?

Thanks in advance!

Andy
