Hi Thomas,
Just an update from my last mail.

When doing a clean install with the install shield installer
sqltcpxx.dll are not installed and the driver is unusable.

However I did get the driver working by installing it over an
older 7.4 driver (027-000-000-000). In this case I am running with all
sqltcp*.dlls version (027-000-000-000) and all other dlls being
(033-103-065-146). Unforunately when running with this I encountered the
memory leaks and sqlcreatetls bugs.

From your previous mails I understood that the fixes for this bug are
in sqlod32/sqlod32w.dll , but I encounter the problem even with these
dlls being version 033-103-065-146.

Regards,
Ajit

Subject: ANN: updated ODBC driver: 7.4.03 and 7.5.00

Hi Thomas,
As per your last mail to the list:

>>Dear users
>>the current 7.4.03 and 7.5.00 ODBC driver for Linux and Windows can be
=
>>found under:
>>ftp://ftp.sap.com/pub/sapdb/bin/win/odbc74-setup.exe.

However this 7.4 driver does not install sqltcp.dll. (the installation
only has the dlls sqlod32 sqlod32w sqlodext sqlsp32 sqluser74 and
odbcreg.exe)

On trying to connect to a 7.3. database I get the error:

SQLConnect : SQL_ERROR - [SAP AG][SQLOD32 DLL][SAP DB] Unable to connect
to data source;-709 CONNECT: (wrong DLL-Version, (check:
 SQLTCPx.DLL)) (errcode -709, sql state "08001")

I assume this is is because the dll is missing.

Thanks and Regards,
Ajit

P.S.:

The new sqlod32/sqlod32w dlls you had made available,
Their version is (33-xxxx) these do not work with the other dlls being
the last available at sapdb.org (ver 27-xxxx)
