Hi, How do I calculate a suitable value for MAXLOCKS. I do not set a value when installing sapdb. However I see different values for MAXLOCKS at different installations I have. (values range from 4080 to 20800) How does sapdb (7.3) come up with a default value for this parameter. Also from the manual in dbmgui -->information->locks is supposed to show the number of current locks for table/row locks. I am running 7.3 with autocommitted queries however these values are both in the range of 30000+ and appear to only increase. Am I missing something or are locks somehow leaking?? Regards, Ajit
