I have downloaded MaxDB and working with Database Manager for Windows. I can't change database state to "online" but can change to "Admin". When I try to change from Admin to Online, I am getting following error... "-24988 sql error [db_online -f]; -8888, connection broken".
A common error is to create too small a database. You should create a data volume of at least 20 MB. If this isn't the problem, please look into the knldiag for any error messages (http://sapdb.2scale.net/moin.cgi/knldiag).
