Hello Thomas, the program terminates "correctly" and the mysterious signs are the output.
iodbctest terminates in ODBC_Connect with a -1 and then an error message should follow. When printing out the errormessage, the debugger runs through a "if (unicodedriver) ...". So, my assumption is, that iodbctest tries to interpret a normal string as a unicode string (or the other way round) and prints it out. The question now is: Why does it run into that unicode part? The stack back trace may give valuable hints. A valgrind output would probably also useful.
