Erick,

Why don't you get the MaxDB manual? :) Search the Google for "MaxDB manual
chm" for an easy-to-use chm version.

P.S.
You can use LONG[VARCHAR] to store binary data. As suggested by it's name,
the length may vary.

Subject: data type for storing objects

What will be the data type to store objects? In my case I need to store a
fax(tiff) image and a voice(pcm) recording.

Will it be fixed? And how do I determine the length? Or is it automatic?

Thanks,
