BlankI am in the process of designing a robust backup plan. I am running livecache 7.4.2.25, log mode = SINGLE, log volume on EMC but not on RAID-1, autolog=YES. This is for APO 3.1 on AIX5. Backup to Tivoli TSM via ADINT2.
Here is one failure scenario for which I am trying to design: yesterday 10pm: full backup to tape. dml/ddl activity since yesterday. Maybe some autolog activity (but maybe not ... does it matter for this scenario?) ... last autolog save today at 9am. today 10am livecache crashed. Analysis reveals online redo log corrupted. How can I recover database to the point of failure? Thanks Bhalu Zute
