I'm having a problem with the DB manager for SAPDB / MAXDB 7.5, after installing the
ABAP stack of WebAS 6.40 running on Windows 2000 server. The SAP system itself is
running fine.
When I'm trying to register the SAP DB instance in DBMGUI, I'm getting the following
error message:

"Run-time error '340' - Control array element '0' doesn't exist"

(whatever this means...)

The DBM75.exe file version is 4.0.100.1190 and product version is 7.5.00.03.

I could not find any post in the archives that would discuss this problem. When
searching the internet, I have found similar errors with completely different software
and in those cases, this was a bug with those other programs (like a driver for a
video card or some game).

I really haven't got much idea what can be the cause. Could anyone give me some idea
what's wrong?

Out of curiosity, I tried to use an older version of the 7.4 DBMGUI that I had (NOT
labeled as 'second edition') and it lets me register the DB instance just fine.
However then I'm getting all sorts of other errors and weird behaviour when I'm trying
to maintain the DB parameters, obviously because this older version of DB Manager is
not fully compatible with v7.5 of MAXDB... :-\

Any help in fixing this problem is appreciated.
Thanks!
