Hi there, I downloaded MaxDB and I installed all packages. I installed maxdb-all-win-32bit-i386-7_5_0_8.
My system is W2k SP3. Services installed after installation: SAPDB: .M750008 - C:\PROGRAMMI\SDB\7500\pgm\kernel.exe SAPDB: .M750008 (omststknl.exe) - C:\PROGRAMMI\SDB\7500\pgm\omststknl.exe SAPDB: .M750008 (quick) - C:\PROGRAMMI\SDB\7500\pgm\quickknl.exe SAPDB: .M750008 (slow) - C:\PROGRAMMI\SDB\7500\pgm\slowknl.exe I created a db called 'TEST'. Services installed after db creation: SAPDB: TEST - C:\PROGRAMMI\SDB\7500\pgm\kernel.exe SAPDB: TEST (omststknl.exe) - C:\PROGRAMMI\SDB\7500\pgm\omststknl.exe SAPDB: TEST (quick) - C:\PROGRAMMI\SDB\7500\pgm\quickknl.exe SAPDB: TEST (slow) - C:\PROGRAMMI\SDB\7500\pgm\slowknl.exe This is what happened: C:\>dbmcli -d test -u test,test dbmcli on test>db_start ERR -24994,ERR_RTE: runtime environment error 1,'TEST' has stopped unexpectedly, (view 'Application Event Log') --- dbmcli on test> I think 'Application Event Log' is Windows event log.
