FYI, "port=xxx;" will be ignored.

Please have a look at the definition of the DSN:

regedit:  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ODBC\ODBC.INI

If you don't see any suspicious, please send me the parts of the registry
defining the DSN in question.
