May I ask what the results of db_analyzer are telling me? I ran $ ./db_analyzer -d <DB> -u <user>,<passwd> -t 1, 1000
And I am getting resutls of: W1 Catalog cache hitrate (SQL Pages) 87%, 106 of 824 accesses failed
This is pretty consistent across each run. I assume that 106/824 accesses failed is not a good thing. What about the cache hitrate? Is there some targeted level I should be aiming for? Is there somewhere in the documentation that can explain the results of db_analyzer and also how to optimize a database?
