MaxDB Hardware - RAID Cache

Dear all,

one question to hardware configuration for MaxDB on RAID Systems.

What's about the RAID Controller's Read / Write Cache ?

I think there was a discussion about switching off the write cache of the RAID Controller because of problems with data consistency in error cases.
